Desk Clock – StandBy & Widgets (“the App”) is developed by 1 Dollar Apps. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data the App accesses, how it is used, and your rights.

Data Collection

We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. The App operates entirely on your device. No data is sent to external servers, and no analytics or tracking tools are used.

Permissions

The App requests the following permissions:

Accessibility Service

The App uses Android’s Accessibility Service to automatically display the desk clock when your phone is charging and placed in landscape. This service:

• Does not read or access any screen content
• Does not monitor your keystrokes, notifications, or app usage
• Does not collect or transmit any personal information
• Is used solely to detect charging state and device orientation

Photo/Media Access

If you choose to set a wallpaper background, the App requests access to your selected photo only. It does not browse, scan, or upload your media library.

Data Storage

All preferences (clock style, font, colors, wallpaper selection, brightness) are stored locally on your device using Android’s DataStore. This data:

• Never leaves your device
• Is not backed up to the cloud (auto-backup is disabled)
• Is deleted when you uninstall the App

Third-Party Services

The App does not use any third-party services, SDKs, or libraries that collect user data. There are no ads, analytics, or crash reporting services.

Children’s Privacy

The App does not collect any data from any user, including children under 13. It is safe for use by all ages.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the “Effective Date” above. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
